MESSAGE: Help Is On the Way
CALL TO WORSHIP
L: How could we have known during the joyous parade of the fate that awaited Jesus?
P: Would we have shouted as loudly “Hosanna”?
L: He came to bring peace and truth.
P: But others only feared him and sought his removal.
L: Walk with us, Lord, through the gates of Jerusalem today.
P: Walk with us, Lord, through all the Jerusalems that we will face. AMEN.
OPENING PRAYER Almighty God,
on this day your Son Jesus Christ entered the holy city of Jerusalem
and was proclaimed King by those who spread their garments and palm branches along his way. Let those branches be for us signs of his victory, and grant that we who bear them in his name may ever hail him as our Lord, and follow him in the way that leads to eternal life.
In his name we pray. Amen.

Our church usually would have palms that we could wave and bend into crosses. And we sing songs that remind us of Palm Sunday. This year, we are worshiping at home. But you can still make a palm to wave and put into your window so passers by can see it! Color and cut out the Printable palm coloring page or use it as your guide to draw your very own!
