The world says goodness is about appearances. The better you “look”, the more applause you get, the more goodness you must have. Jesus shows us goodness is about character. The Holy Spirit is still at work, shaping ordinary people into reflections of God’s extraordinary love that goes above and beyond.

Church Picnic Worship begins at 10:30am at Trinity UMC 109 Trinity Drive, Woodward.

Regularly scheduled services are cancelled today so that all three churches (St. James, Sprucetown and Trinity) may gather for unified worship followed by a potluck picnic, hosted at Trinity UMC in Woodward. This service will not be live streamed, but will be recorded and made available later.

Bring a lawn chair for the service. We will set up under and around the pavilion. Plenty of picnic tables for our lunch. Table service and beverages (water, lemonade and iced tea) provided by the host church. Restrooms are available inside the church. Power available for crock pots at the pavilion. If you bring something chilled, we recommend keeping it iced in a cooler until time for lunch. Hand fans available for any who would like to use one.
