For the transformation of the world, we study God's Word in context to be equipped to live Jesus' Way.
Two people attend the same meeting. One leaves saying, “All we ever talk about is problems.” The other says, “We’ve got some real challenges, but people are working together to find solutions.” Same meeting. Same facts. Two very different reports. The way we tell the truth can make a difference in what others come to […]

You are more than the thing we disagree about. I am more than the thing we disagree about. Sometimes we zoom in so tightly on the one thing we dislike, such as the opinion, the choice, or the disagreement that eventually it fills the whole frame of our sight. But it isn’t all that’s there. […]
This Sunday, Christians around the world will come to the Table. Different countries. Different languages. Different traditions. Different kinds of bread. But one Savior. On World Communion Sunday, we’ll follow the story of bread from deliverance, through the wilderness, to an upper room—and finally to the bread waiting on our own Communion Table. Many people. […]
If the label says 100% pure honey, we expect honey—and nothing else. But what happens when something else gets mixed in? This Sunday in Rethink Everything: Rethink What Is Pure, we’re asking a more personal question: What have I allowed to get mixed in? The original ingredient may be good. But what have we added […]

What if Christians became known for conviction without cruelty, courage without hatred, truth without humiliation, and grace without surrendering what is right? Perhaps someone would stop the ordinary, typical, socially accepted thing they are doing to “turn aside”. Perhaps someone would become curious about Jesus. Does the way I respond cause anyone to become curious […]
What does your faith look like when some weight gets put on it? It’s easy to talk about patience until somebody tests ours.Easy to value truth until the truth costs us something.Easy to believe in grace until somebody we don’t particularly like needs some. That’s when signs of integrity begin to show. Sunday we discover […]
