When Jesus walked the shores of Galilee, He didn’t call experts or the spiritually elite. He simply said, *“Come, follow me”*—and ordinary people dropped everything to walk with Him. In this message, Penns Valley Charge UMC Pastor Theresa Heiser explores what it means to accept Jesus’ invitation into relationship. Drawing from Genesis 12, Matthew 4, and John 15, we discover that discipleship begins not with perfection, but with presence—walking daily with the One who calls us *friend*.
