You may have heard a verse commonly quoted from Esther, when her uncle Mordecai tells her she has come into her position as queen “for a time such as this.” She knew for sure that her life meant something, that she had a cause to live for, that when she was gone, people would know what she cared about. How many of us long for our lives to mean something, for us to have a good cause to stand for? A good cause is a critical essential if we want to live a good life.

September 29 – Trinity Woodward Church Fall Hayride and Picnic, loading wagons at 3pm, bring a covered dish to share for the picnic at 5pm. (Raindate is the following Sunday)
October 3 – Ladies Coffee & Conversation for all ladies in the valley 9:30am at St. James in Coburn
October 6 – Homecoming & World Communion Sunday; Guest Speaker Pastor Michael Stine at Trinity and St. James, Pastor Jim Jacobs at Sprucetown with a roast turkey potluck lunch to follow. All are invited!
