LAST DAY TO REGISTER IS APRIL 19TH – The Lay Servant Ministries Basic Course is available to anyone attending the United Methodist Church who has interest in learning more about the church. This is expecially helpful for leaders and those considering serving in leadership in the church. – We are collecting new erasers and hand towels for Mission Central care kits! These will become part of back to school kits that will help underprivileged children be ready to learn this fall. Donation box is near the church entry door. We are collecting until May 31st.
– April 20 – Historic Paradise Church Cemetery Association Meeting, 7pm, St. James UMC, Coburn. Anyone interested in the maintenance and improvement of the site welcome. We have a few projects this year including improvements to the stones of Rev. Sebastian Musser, Adam Zerby and Jacob Steiger. Also, we celebrate a $500 grant received toward improvements.

– May 7 – Ladies’ Coffee & Conversation, a time of casual conversation for the ladies of Penns Valley. All are welcome. We gather at 9:30am at St. James UMC in Coburn.
