There’s a difference between peacekeepers and peacemakers. Peacekeepers avoid conflict. Peacemakers pursue reconciliation. One preserves appearances. The other pursues healing. Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers.” Come discover why peace isn’t the absence of conflict but the presence of God’s restoring work in the middle of it.

– June 18 – Ladies Coffee & Conversation, St. James in Coburn at 9:30am. All ladies, welcome!

– July 1 – St. James Trustees meet at 6:30pm, Ad Board at 7pm. Contact Paula Smith if you know you are unable to attend. All are invited to help with the business of the church.

– July 19 is our Unified Worship and Potluck Picnic. All three charge churches, friends and families will gather at the host church, Trinity Woodward UMC, for a resurrection and renewal worship service with butterfly release at 10:30am followed by a potluck picnic. Bring a lawn chair for worship. Plenty of picnic tables and outlets for crockpots are available. Table service and beverages will be provided by the host church. Come and get to know your brothers and sisters in Christ in the valley. [All other services are cancelled for this day.] Butterfly sponsorship forms are on the bottom of the weekly bulletins and available at the churches.

– July 20 – Trinity UMC’s Administrative Board and Trustees meeting at 7pm. All are welcome.
