ANNOUNCEMENTS: ** Indicates change to the regular schedule

– We are a collection partner for Angel Kits items for victims of human trafficking. The list of items needed is available near the collection bin. Thank you for supporting FierceLove4Good!

– We are collecting new erasers and hand towels for Mission Central care kits! These will become part of back-to-school kits that will help underprivileged children be ready to learn this fall.  Donation box is near the church entry door. We are collecting until May 31st.

– May 8-15 – Pastor Theresa is on vacation. For urgent pastoral care, contact Pastor Jim Jacobs at 814-571-5046.

– May 17 – Ascension Sunday: Jesus prays for our unity and glorification in him. Join us!

– May 18 – Trinity UMC Ad Board and Trustees Meeting 7pm. All Trinity family welcome.

– May 21 – Ladies’ Coffee & Conversation, a time of casual conversation for the ladies of Penns Valley. All are welcome. We gather at 9:30am at St. James UMC in Coburn.

– May 24 – Pentecost: Celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all believers, empowering the church for mission and proclaiming that God’s Spirit is unbound and available to all!

– May 27 – Soup Kitchen at St. James. For information about this ministry, contact Paula Smith.

– May 31 – Trinity Sunday: Celebrate the mystery of God’s partnership in creation – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – calling us to join in God’s ongoing work of love and renewal.

– June 4-6 – 2026 Susquehanna Annual Conference in Williamsport. Pastor Theresa and our Lay Member to AC, Beth Brown, attending. Share any input you have regarding resolutions up for vote in writing to either Beth or the pastor by Sunday, May 31st. The workbook is available on the Annual Conference page of SUSUMC.org.
