We spend a lot of time asking God for directions and maybe even more time asking “why?” But often, God doesn’t hand us explanations or a map. Jesus says, “I am the way.” This Sunday, we’re talking about what it means to trust the Guide instead of demanding the map.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: ** Indicates change to the regular schedule
– We are collecting new erasers and hand towels for Mission Central care kits! These will become part of back-to-school kits that will help underprivileged children be ready to learn this fall. Donation box is near the church entry door. We are collecting until May 31st.
– May 5 – Sprucetown’s Administrative Board and Trustees meeting 7pm. We are looking for more people to help do the business of the church. Consider attending the meeting.
– May 6 – St. James UMC’s Trustees meet at 6:30pm, Ad Board at 7pm. We welcome new people to join us to do the work of the church. Consider attending the meeting with us.
– May 7 & 21 – Ladies’ Coffee & Conversation, a time of casual conversation for the ladies of Penns Valley. All are welcome. We gather at 9:30am at St. James UMC in Coburn.
