ANNOUNCEMENTS: ** Indicates change to the regular schedule
– We are collecting new erasers and hand towels for Mission Central care kits! These will become part of back-to-school kits that will help underprivileged children be ready to learn this fall. Donation box is near the church entry door. We are collecting until May 31st.
– April 29 – Soup Kitchen Ministry at St. James UMC, Coburn. Contact Paula Smith for details.
– May 5 – Sprucetown Administrative Board and Trustees meeting 7pm. We are looking for more people to help do the business of the church. Consider attending the meeting. Thank you. Our next meeting will be September 1st.
– May 6 – St. James UMC’s Trustees meet at 6:30pm, Ad Board at 7pm. We welcome new people to join us to do the work of the church. Consider attending the meeting with us.
– May 7 & 21 – Ladies’ Coffee & Conversation, a time of casual conversation for the ladies of Penns Valley. All are welcome. We gather at 9:30am at St. James UMC in Coburn.
– May 8-15 – Pastor Theresa is on vacation. For urgent pastoral care, contact Pastor Jim Jacobs at 814-571-5046.
– May 10 – Happy Mother’s Day! Ruth Hocker, Lay Servant, will serve the pulpit at Trinity UMC, Rev. Dr. Michael Stine serves the pulpits at St. James UMC and Sprucetown UMC.
– May 18 – Trinity UMC’s Ad Board and Trustees meeting 7pm. All are welcome. We could use more people to help do the business of the church. Consider attending the meeting.
